Secondary History Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Secondary school in Cornwall, who are looking for an experienced History Teacher, who is able to teach up to GCSE level, commencing after the Easter break, until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time role, requiring applicants to be available from 08:30am - 3:30pm, from Monday to Friday.

Applicants should be enthusiastic about education, with the ability to lead and motivate students with their academic performance. They should be reliable and punctual, with excellent communication skills, able to communicate with various age groups, as well as liaising with other members of staff, and parents. We are looking for FQT's and are interested in hearing from any teachers, who have experience in History roles. 

Educators will be required to have a Child Workforce DBS on the update service prior to being placed in a school, however, support with this can be offered during the registration process. Candidates applying should have excellent knowledge of policies including Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Teaching and Learning, and Equal Opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
