Our client is looking for a proactive Technical Support Engineer to strengthen their growing team.

Objective of the role:

Based in Leeds, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding IT and telecoms support across our diverse customer base. From troubleshooting to project delivery, you'll be at the heart of our technical operations.

Daily duties & Responsibilities:

* Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for hardware, software, cloud services, and networks.

* Act as a key escalation point for the Support team, solving complex technical issues.

* Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud telephony platforms.

* Support critical IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and security enhancements.

* Collaborate with customers, partners, and suppliers via multiple communication channels.

* Contribute to internal documentation, compliance, and business continuity processes.

* Mentor junior staff and share your knowledge to raise the technical bar.

* Keep up to date with the latest in tech and industry best practices.

Person Specification:

* Ideally 2+ years' experience in IT or telecoms support/infrastructure roles

* Proven skills in Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud platforms

* Solid understanding of networks, VPNs, firewalls, and telephony systems

* Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to explain solutions clearly

* A team player who can also work independently with confidence

* A genuine passion for customer service and continuous improvement

* Certifications (e.g., Microsoft Associate) are a bonus - but not essential
