Location: Remote

Remuneration: £40,000 - £60,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Design Estimator - Ductwork Systems will involve:

• Designer Estimator position for the design and installation of fire proof ductwork systems
• Working with Main Contractors, M&E Consultants, Electrical Consultants and M&E Contractors
• Reviewing tender enquiries and gaining an understanding of requirements
• Prepare 2D and 3D design drawings on Revit
• Ensure that all designs meet the client requirements
• Producing formalised quotations to clients
• Liaise regularly with sales and project management teams
• Once the client places an order, hand over project to operations / projects teams
• Project order values can vary from £100k - circa £1.5m

The ideal applicant will be a Design Estimator - Ductwork Systems with:

• Must have Estimator experience within the ductwork market sector
• Must have experience using AutoCAD Revit & Ensign software
• Ideally will have a sound knowledge of various HVAC / M&E / fire protection systems such as: ductwork, ventilation systems, fire alarms, power cables, control cables, emergency lighting, lifts, sprinklers, emergency power, smoke & heat extract systems
• Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Attention to detail and methodical organisational skills
