Project Support Officer

SALARY: £10.86/hour

Job Purpose

Key Working Relationships

* Working with key stakeholders including, and not limited to, Leads, provider leads, clinical professionals and the local area team.

* In addition to this the role requires continuous engagement with the line manager, internal and external DoS Leads and the central Team for effective DoS management.


* Ability to provide and receive both complex clinical and demographic information in order to translate this into the accurate clinical profiling of services

* The ability to effectively communicate with all the key stakeholders involved including DoS, commissioning and provider leads.

* Provide appropriate oral, written and email responses to any queries or enquiries from relevant stakeholders.

* Display a range of effective communication skills with all the key stakeholders and team members to retain continuous DoS functionality.

Knowledge, Training Experience

* Understanding of requirement for universal healthcare coverage

* T. literate with working knowledge of MS Office applications and database systems.

* Knowledge of bespoke healthcare applications and systems.

Analytical Judgemental Skills

* Analysis of local commissioned healthcare services and how service provision is aligned

* Experience of information gap and trend analysis and analysis of complex information sets.

* Understand the individual Ranking Strategies of commissioned services

Planning and Organising

* Plan and organise across site meetings for the purposes of DoS maintenance and management.

* Plan and facilitate DoS training sessions.

* Manage complex periodic DoS system upgrades and disseminate associated literature.

* Negotiate with the commissioning leads the suitability of their commissioned services profiled within the ranking system.

Physical Skills

* Possess strong keyboard skills.

Responsibility for Financial Physical Resources

* Take safe ownership of resources in relation to project delivery (i.e. safe handling of company laptop and travel documentation).

* Maintain and manage stationery stock.

Responsibility for Information Resources

* Utilise multiple IT systems to produce, manage and interpret reports relating to statistical clinical and demographic data.

* Ensure compliance with Information Governance protocols through continuous training.

Responsibility for Research and Development

* Undertake complex cross system audits to ensure consistency of service delivery (i.e. requirement for gap analysis and ability to determine the requisite remedial action required).

* Support and develop existing pilot projects and research, as and when required, and/or other similar projects
