About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Communications & Change Contractor with a strong background in Facilities Management (FM) to support a high-profile transformation programme. This role will play a critical part in driving engagement, supporting behavioural change, and ensuring clear, effective communication across operational and corporate stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and deliver a comprehensive change and communications strategy aligned to programme objectives

* Create engaging, audience-focused content across multiple channels (e.g. intranet, email, leadership briefings, toolkits)

* Partner with FM operational teams to translate complex changes into clear, actionable messaging

* Conduct stakeholder mapping and manage communications plans across diverse groups (site teams, suppliers, leadership)

* Support change impact assessments and readiness activities

* Facilitate workshops, briefings, and engagement sessions

* Monitor effectiveness of communications and adapt strategies based on feedback and data

* Ensure consistency of messaging across all FM sites and functions

Required Experience

* Proven experience in change management and internal communications within large-scale transformation programmes

* Strong background working within Facilities Management (FM) environments (hard/soft services, estates, or workplace operations)

* Demonstrable experience supporting operational or frontline workforce change

* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels

* Strong writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities

* Experience working in fast-paced, complex environments

Desirable Skills

* Familiarity with recognised change frameworks

* Experience in outsourcing, mobilisation, or FM transformation programmes

* Knowledge of digital workplace tools (e.g. SharePoint, Teams, engagement platforms)
