Credit Controller

This position offers the chance to manage your own ledger within a well-established and growing business based in Troon. You will play an important role in protecting cash flow, building strong client relationships and supporting wider financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and proactively pursue overdue payments in a professional manner.

* Allocate cash accurately and complete regular bank reconciliations.

* Assess new customer credit applications and set appropriate credit limits.

* Investigate and resolve invoice queries and disputes efficiently.

* Monitor aged debt, credit ratings and account risk.

* Recommend escalation or recovery action where required.

* Support month-end reporting and maintain accurate ledger records.

What We Are Looking For

* Previous experience in a Credit Control role.

* Strong communication and negotiation skills.

* Excellent attention to detail and numerical ability.

* Ability to manage workload effectively in a busy environment.

* Competent in MS Office and accounting systems.

* A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
