We are looking for an Aquacise Instructor at Your Space Royston!

A little more about the role:

We are looking for a dynamic and approachable Aquacise Instructor to deliver fun, safe, and effective water-based fitness classes in our swimming pool. You will play a key role in promoting health and wellbeing within the local community.

You will also promote the services and facilities. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role and hold a nationally recognised qualification in Aquatic Fitness Instruction e.g. YMCA. Most importantly, you are passionate about health and fitness, keen to advance your skills and career, and ready to make a real contribution in our rapidly expanding company.

You'll complete daily tasks and welcome changes that help us to work better, you will be ready to jump in and help customers or your teammates anytime. You will help to make our spaces feel warm and welcoming for all. You will own your performance and work hard to meet your daily tasks and goals. You will always find new ways to help people feel good!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engaging aquacise sessions for mixed-ability groups.
• Ensure participant safety and adherence to pool rules and health guidelines.
• Provide clear instructions and demonstrate exercises effectively.
• Offer adaptations for different fitness levels and mobility needs.
• Maintain a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages participation.
• Check pool equipment before and after sessions and report any issues.
• Support leisure centre events and promotions related to fitness and wellbeing.
