Mechanical Assembler

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire (Commutable from High Wycombe, Bicester, Leighton Buzzard, Thame, Oxford and surrounding areas)
Salary: £34,086 - £35,880 per annum inclusive of 15% shift premium (Base £29,640 - £31,200 DOE)
Shift Pattern: Monday - Wednesday 1:30pm - 11:30pm, Thursday 1:30pm - 11:00pm
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Precision Mechanical Assembly Role in a Growing Engineering Manufacturer

Syntech Recruitment is working with a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Aylesbury. This is a permanent PM shift opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Assembler who enjoys detailed, hands-on work within a structured production environment.

This role would suit someone with a solid manufacturing background who takes pride in quality, precision and working to engineering drawings.

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities

* Reading and interpreting Third Angle Projection engineering drawings

* Carrying out precision mechanical fitting and assembly work to high standards

* Working from engineering instructions and build documentation

* Following guidance from engineers, project managers and team leaders

* Participating in quality control processes

* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

* Maintaining high standards of output and workmanship

Mechanical Assembler Profile

* Minimum 2 years' experience within a manufacturing environment

* Strong ability to read and interpret 3rd angle projection engineering drawings

* High attention to detail and a meticulous approach

* Comfortable working to tight tolerances and quality standards

* Ability to problem-solve and prioritise workload
