We’re working with a well-established, forward-thinking insurance brokerage in Manchester that is looking to recruit an Account Handler to join one of their busy commercial insurance teams. This is a high-volume role, focused on renewals, within a fast-paced environment where you’ll work closely with both clients and Account Executives, as part of a team of 10–15 colleagues, to deliver excellent service and effective insurance solutions.
Responsibilities of the Account Handler:
- Manage a large portfolio of commercial property accounts, handling renewals, placements, and mid-term adjustments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
- Work closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth account management and high standards of client service.
- Prepare documentation for renewal meetings and maintain accurate client records.
- Use Acturis to manage accounts and support the wider team in delivering consistent service.
Our ideal Account Handler:
- Proven experience in commercial insurance broking, ideally within the property sector.
- Comfortable managing high volumes of renewals in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Experience using Acturis software is desirable.
- Cert CII qualified or willing to work towards certification.
- Able to prioritise effectively and work proactively on your own initiative.
