Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver inspiring, differentiated lessons in Year 4, ensuring that the National Curriculum is delivered effectively and in a way that meets the diverse needs of all learners.

Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing meaningful feedback to students and parents, and adjusting teaching methods accordingly to support all learners.

Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to achieve their best.

*

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning are maintained across the school, contributing to school-wide initiatives and professional development.

*

Develop strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and engaging them in their child's learning journey.

*

Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, school events, and supporting school improvement projects.

Person Specification:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

*

A thorough understanding of the Year 4 curriculum, with the ability to deliver engaging, creative lessons that motivate and inspire students.

*

Proven experience in assessing pupil progress, using data to inform planning and ensuring that all students make progress.

*

Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to foster a positive learning environment that promotes high standards of behavior and academic achievement.

*

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

*

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for supporting students in their academic and personal growth.
