A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Beverley is seeking a dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join their team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and guide students as they develop knowledge and skills for future studies or employment in health, social care, and early years settings.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Health and Social Care lessons for KS4 and KS5 students
  • Teach key topics such as human development, health and wellbeing, care values, and the healthcare sector
  • Support students in understanding real-life case studies and applying theory to practice
  • Prepare learners for coursework, assessments, and external examinations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Health and Social Care curriculum
  • Provide guidance on career pathways in health, social care, and related industries

What We're Looking For:

  • QTS/QTLS or equivalent, with specialism in Health and Social Care or a related subject
  • Experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS4 and/or KS5 level
  • A nurturing and engaging approach that brings subject content to life
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to supporting all learners
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
