We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Electrical Lecturer to join our team in South East London. This role involves teaching students of varying abilities, from Level 1 to Level 3, and playing a crucial role in the expansion and development of the department. With your valuable industry experience, you will inspire the next generation of skilled experts and support individuals from diverse backgrounds to achieve their career and life ambitions.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach electrical courses to students from Level 1 to Level 3.
  • Work closely with the Curriculum Manager to expand and develop the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education.
  • Inspire students using your industry experience, helping them to understand real-world applications of their studies.
  • Promote the electrical courses and the department at marketing events, sharing your experiences and attracting new students.
  • Engage with students effectively, using clear and confident communication to facilitate learning.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, ensuring efficient administration and compliance with educational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience in the electrical field.
  • Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
  • Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and inspiring students.
  • Efficient administration skills for effective student record-keeping.
