We are seeking a dedicated and kind-hearted Teaching Assistant to join the team at Portfield School. ​

​Our Teaching Assistants are vital in ensuring each student reaches their full potential. Each TA does this by developing a positive working relationships with our students understanding their likes, dislikes and interests so that all lessons are personalised.

Working at Portfield School is unbelievably rewarding and we guarantee that no two days will be the same, this does come with some challenges which may be both physically and emotionally demanding at times however you will not be alone, on going support will always be available from your team members, line manager, Leadership team, mental Health First aiders or our Employee Assistance programme.

We love celebrating all the amazing achievements here at school whether it's painting a picture, preparing and trying new food, being able to solve a tricky maths equation or a short conversation with someone new! All of these elements to a students journey you could be apart of, there really is no better feeling!



Hours of work:

Monday - 08:30am - 4pm

Tuesday - 08:30am - 4:30pm

Wednesday - 08:30am - 4pm

Thursday - 08:30am - 4pm

Friday - 08:30am - 3:30pm
