Management Accountant - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract - Annesley, Nottinghamshire / Hybrid - £52,000 - £58,000

Our impressive growing and profitable client is looking for a Management Accountant to join them on an initial 6 month fixed term contract with a potential extension and/or permanent role on completion of initial contract. You will be someone available to start within 4 weeks and who has management accounting experience, will be Qualified / QBE (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and passionate about all areas of Management Accounting. You will have a commercial mindset, good with systems and Excel, and be able to take responsibility for the Management Accounts. You will be a hands-on finance professional with experience in Management Accounting and someone who is a good communicator and able to work well with colleagues across the business.

Key Areas of the Role:

• Responsibility for preparing the monthly management accounts and supporting the month-end process
• Financial reporting and some business partnering
• Involvement in supporting other areas of finance as required
• Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and planning
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with other areas including VAT, year-end accounts, etc.
• Strong Excel skills

The company is flexible and offers hybrid home working 2 days per week (if desired). There is a lot of opportunity within the business and potential permanent opportunities following completion of this contract.
