SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them thrive in a nurturing, inclusive environment?

Teach Now is seeking a caring, resilient, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming 1-form entry secondary school in Ealing. This part-time, temporary role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-resourced setting that truly values the individual needs of every student—especially those with ADHD, SEMH, and behavioural challenges.

The school is celebrated for its supportive, family-like atmosphere and a dedicated SEN team. With a strong commitment to staff development and student progress, you'll be surrounded by passionate educators who collaborate to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. You'll work both in class and 1:1 with students, offering vital support, guidance, and encouragement to help them reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing tailored support to students with ADHD, SEMH, or behavioural needs
• Assisting in the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activities
• Responding calmly and positively to challenging situations in the classroom
• Collaborating with teachers and SEN professionals to track student progress

What we're looking for:

• Experience supporting students with behavioural needs in a school setting
• A solid understanding of behaviour management strategies
• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
• A recognised TA qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• A compassionate, flexible, and patient approach

Whether you're an experienced SEN TA or looking to take your next step in education, this role offers a fulfilling and rewarding pathway.
