Nursery Practitioner

We are working with a great nursery based near Farnham, looking for a level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join the team!

A new and amazing nursery has opened recently and they are looking to continue their success in adding to their talented staff. With a play-based curriculum in place, children are ready for adventures full of learning. You will be able to bring your experience to the team and add value to the lives of children. You will be able to mix and match a range of activities and have a supportive and patient nature. You will understand that children develop best when supported and given the freedom to be inquisitive. With this role you will be committed to safeguarding and putting children’s best practices above all. Adding value to each and every family that joins this nursery is what the nursery pride itself on.

Responsibilities:  

• Communicate and work with parents to ensure that their children’s time at nursery is rich and rewarding
• Work efficiently to ensure the safety of the children and nursery at all times.
• Follow all nursery procedures to ensure the smooth running of the setting
• Report and document records as necessary

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Qualified to a relevant level 3 childcare certification or equivalent
• Experience working with children in a similar setting
• Super verbal communication skills
• Good time keeping
• Be able to work independently and as part of a friendly team
