Pay rate - £15.55ph paye

Job Purpose

Engage directly with residents at their doorstep to share information about the food waste recycling service and provide necessary resources, with the aim to increase the amount of food waste recycled in selected areas of the borough.

Main Duties

1. Engage residents in a positive, friendly and professional manner across targeted areas in Brent 2. Communicate confidently and clearly with residents about the waste and recycling services, explaining how the service works, its environmental benefits, and how to participate. 3. Actively listen to residents' questions, concerns and feedback, responding appropriately and escalating issues when necessary to ensure residents feel supported and well-informed. 4. Promote behaviour change through effective customer engagement, using persuasive communication techniques to encourage correct and consistent use of the recycling and waste service. 5. Distribute leaflets, food waste caddies, and other campaign materials.Apply stickers to bins to reinforce messaging and support correct use of bins. Accurately record interactions data using provided forms and tools
