Job Description

Job Title: Welfare Assistant
Location: Scarisbrick
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 2:00pm
Contract: Term-Time Only

Are you passionate about supporting children's wellbeing in a nursery environment? We're looking for a caring and reliable Nursery Welfare Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive setting based in Scarisbrick.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first aid and welfare support to pupils throughout the day

*

Monitor children who are unwell or injured and communicate with staff and parents when necessary

*

Keep accurate records of incidents and medical needs

*

Support pupils with personal care, hygiene, and comfort where required

*

Work closely with the safeguarding and pastoral team to support pupils' overall wellbeing

*

Maintain confidentiality and follow school policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience in a similar role or working with children (desirable but not essential)

*

Be first aid trained or willing to complete training

*

Be friendly, approachable, and professional

*

Be punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic

*

Be happy working in a school environment and committed to supporting pupil welfare
