Are you an experienced leader with a background in safeguarding administration? We're looking for a dynamic Safeguarding Admin Team Manager to join our dedicated Children's Social Care service.

In this pivotal role, you will manage, co-ordinate, and develop an efficient, high-quality, customer-focused administration service that supports safeguarding practices within the department.

* Location: Magdalen House, Bootle, L20 3NJ

* Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week

* Pay: £19.25 per hour umbrella

About the Role:
You will have proven experience managing a Safeguarding Admin Team and be confident in leading a business support function. You'll need to be highly organised, IT literate, and able to effectively communicate and co-ordinate information from senior management across the service.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing and developing the Safeguarding Admin Team to deliver excellent administrative support.

Leading, motivating and supervising staff, with a solid understanding of personnel policies and procedures.

*

Co-ordinating information flow, ensuring statutory and departmental policies and procedures are met.

*

Contributing to service improvement initiatives and supporting operational efficiency.

*

Processing financial transactions in line with the Authority's policies.

*

Effectively interrogating Social Care systems to support safeguarding processes.

Sound knowledge of financial processes and social care system reporting.
