The Role
The Sociology Teacher will:

* Employ creative and critical teaching methods, including sociological investigations, complex data analysis, and interactive discussions on social inequalities and power structures.
* Empower students to think critically about societal challenges, analyse evidence, and articulate sociological arguments with clarity and conviction.
* Actively contribute to the wider school community through thriving sociology clubs, social justice initiatives, and community engagement projects.

* Possesses an unyielding passion for sociology, its critical perspectives, and innovative teaching.
* Is exceptionally skilled in devising creative and engaging learning experiences that deeply inspire students.
* Demonstrates a proven ability to differentiate instruction to both support and rigorously challenge learners across all academic abilities.
* Works seamlessly as part of a collaborative team and is eager to lead school-wide academic and social awareness initiatives.
Why Join Our School?
* A vibrant and intellectually stimulating learning environment that passionately celebrates critical thinking and social justice.
* A highly supportive and collegial department with a shared commitment to fostering deep sociological insight and active citizenship.
* Exceptional opportunities for continuous professional development and robust career progression.
* A unique chance to conceptualise and lead exciting, student-driven research projects and community engagement in sociology.
