Job Title: CNC Setter Operator (Night Shift)
Location: Stroud
Hours: Night Shift
Salary: £37,895 + benefits
Key Responsibilities of a CNC Setter Operator:
* Set and operate Mill-Turn CNC machines to produce high-precision components.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate machining.
* Conduct tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
* Perform first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience as a CNC Setter Operator, with Mill-Turn machines.
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
* Willingness to work night shifts and meet production targets
