The role 

The ideal Food Technology Teacher will be keen and passionate, willing to work effectively as part of a team and have the ability to motivate and support others. As a Food Technology Teacher you will be encouraged to develop your skills in a well-resourced, supportive environment. It is important that the Food Technology Teacher has high expectations of pupil's achievement and a strong commitment to raising standards.

Requirements 
To be considered for the Food Technology Teacher position, you will: 

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have recent teaching experience for at least six weeks
  • Have the ability to deliver and plan inspiring lessons
  • Have an extensive knowledge of food and food production
  • Be enthusiastic towards education and have a positive mindset
