The Opportunity

We’re seeking a qualified Senior Accountant who within the short term is looking to step into a Senior Manager role. You’ll work directly with the partners, support junior staff, and eventually manage a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a long-term mindset and a passion for leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements and reports
• Month-end and year-end close processes
• Drafting personal and corporate tax returns
• Supporting tax planning discussions
• Managing and mentoring junior team members
• Overseeing a portfolio of smaller clients
• Contributing to the management of 900+ tax returns (including 500 companies)

Candidate Profile

• ACCA-qualified or equivalent is desirable
• Strong experience in accounts preparation and tax compliance
• Proven ability to manage and develop junior staff
• Long-term career mindset (frequent job changes may be a concern)
• Comfortable in a relaxed, diverse office culture

Salary & Benefits

• Senior Level: £35,000 - £40,000 with rapid progression opportunities
