About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and driven Graduate Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager to join a growing team based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to launch or develop their project management career, working across both office and site environments on a variety of projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects from start to finish
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, reporting to senior management
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Attend and contribute to project meetings, both in the office and on-site
  • Manage project documentation, including programmes, reports, and risk registers
  • Support the identification and resolution of project issues and risks
  • Travel to sites across the region as required

What They Are Looking For
  • A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Working towards or holding a professional qualification such as MRICS
  • Some previous experience in a project management or assistant project management role is advantageous
  • A full, valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
