OTE: £48,620 - £57,200 based on a 50-hour week | £61,880 - £72,800 based on a 60-hour week

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Agricultural Mechanic, Field Service Engineer or Farm Machinery Technician to join our team operating across the Offwell area. This is a permanent, full-time role servicing and repairing agricultural machinery on farms and at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities for Agricultural Mechanic / Service Technician

* Service, diagnose and repair agricultural machinery including tractors, combines, balers, and telehandlers

* Conduct field service visits and emergency callouts to customer sites

* Use diagnostic tools to assess faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

* Work on diesel engines, hydraulics, CANbus and electrical systems

* Complete accurate job sheets and reports using digital systems

* Liaise with parts and service departments to ensure effective job completion

* Provide occasional support and guidance to apprentices or junior engineers

Essential Requirements from Agricultural Mechanic / Service Technician

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Land-Based Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Plant Maintenance or similar

* Minimum 2 years' experience as an Agricultural Technician, Service Engineer, or Plant Mechanic

* Proven ability to fault-find and repair complex machinery

* Strong work ethic and a commitment to high standards of service and safety

* Full UK driving licence required

* Time and a half (1.5x) from 40 hours
