Teaching Assistant - KS1 (Full-Time, Long-Term)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Glossop. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a Key Stage 1 setting, supporting pupils in their early stages of education within a nurturing and engaging environment.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the class teacher to support learning, deliver interventions, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Support teaching and learning within a KS1 classroom
Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
Assist in the delivery of lessons in line with the national curriculum
Help manage classroom behaviour effectively
Support pupils with varying abilities to reach their full potentialRequirements:

Previous experience working within a Primary School setting, ideally KS1
Strong understanding of relevant schemes of learning
Confident supporting phonics, literacy, and numeracy development
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
