We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team on a short-term basis for the next two weeks. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons across [primary/secondary] year groups.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education, maintaining a positive and creative learning environment, and ensuring continuity of learning during the absence of our regular teacher.

• Deliver engaging music lessons aligned with the national curriculum or school scheme of work

• Teach practical and theoretical aspects of music, including singing, instruments, rhythm, notation, and music appreciation

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy

• Prepare and set up instruments and materials as required

• Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and school leadership

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in music education

• Experience teaching music in a primary or secondary school setting

• Strong classroom management skills

• Ability to engage and inspire students through music

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
