We are currently recruiting an experienced Welder on behalf of our client in Sittingbourne. This is a temporary-to-permanent position with a well-established company offering a stable and supportive working environment. What You'll Be Doing

* Fabrication & Welding: Carry out TIG and MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel components for various systems.

* Reading Drawings: Interpret technical drawings, sketches, weld symbols, and specifications to carry out accurate fabrication work.

* Steel Layout: Accurately lay out steel constructions prior to welding.

* Component Prep: Measure, cut, bend, and weld steel parts with precision.

What We're Looking For

* Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar welding/fabrication role.

* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication/Welding (or equivalent).

* Technical Ability: Solid understanding of welding practices with strong hands-on skills.

* Team Player: Able to work effectively in a close-knit team and communicate well with other trades.

* Proactive Approach: Positive attitude, ability to work independently, and keen to contribute to a high-performing team.

* Mentorship: Willingness to share knowledge and support less experienced team members.
