My client is a global IT Consultancy who are looking for a Technical Project Manager

Duration - 6/12 months

Location - Remote with occasional travel to the West Midlands

Pay - £550pd

The role focuses on protecting live services while delivering end-user computing (Citrix VDI to Group IT desktop), access management, and SFTP/MoveIT migrations, working closely with BD&O, Asset Management, Investment Operations, Group IT and Programme teams.
The Project Manager will work with RS&AM business champions aligned to persona groupings to manage delivery, readiness and acceptance into business areas.
The role supports TSA/RTSA exit through RS&AM readiness and acceptance, rather than contractual management. Telford-based (or regular attendance) preferred, ideally with prior knowledge of the Asset Management estate and experience on complex transformation or separation programmes.

Role Purpose:

. The Project Manager will support the Violet Programme during its Separation phase by coordinating all deliveries impacting Retirement Solutions & Asset Management (RS&AM).
. The role is responsible for ensuring RS&AM operations and service continuity are maintained while technical separations are delivered in line with Group IT target solutions. The role acts as the primary coordination point between BD&O, Asset Management, Investment Operations, Group IT, and Violet Programme delivery teams.
. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring strong technical understanding, proactive dependency management, and close engagement with business stakeholders. Programme Context:
. The Violet Programme is delivering Phase 2 (Separation), working to contractual milestones associated with the exit of Temporary Service Agreements (TSAs) and Reverse TSAs (RTSAs).
. Ownership of TSA/RTSA governance, contractual management, and exit approval sits with the Violet Programme. This role supports TSA/RTSA exit by ensuring RS&AM business and technical readiness, definition of acceptance criteria, and coordinated business sign-off.

Role Suitability:
This role would particularly suit a contractor who:

. Has prior knowledge of the Asset Management technology estate and operating model
. Has recently rolled off a relevant programme or transformation, enabling rapid mobilisation and reduced onboarding time

Skills & Experience (Essential):

. Proven Project Management experience within large-scale technology, separation, or transformation programmes
. Strong technical understanding of:
o End-User Computing/VDI environments
o Access management and identity controls
o SFTP/file transfer and system integration patterns
. Experience working closely with operational business teams to protect live services
. Strong dependency, risk, and stakeholder management capability
. Comfortable operating in complex, multi-supplier delivery environments

Success Measures:

. RS&AM services remain stable throughout Separation activities
. User, access, and SFTP migrations delivered with minimal business disruption
. RS&AM readiness and acceptance criteria clearly defined, evidenced, and signed off
. Programme leadership has clear visibility of RS&AM risks, dependencies, and constraints
. TSA/RTSA exits supported by strong RS&AM readiness assurance
