Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World Security Operations Manager Reports to: Deputy Program Manager-Principal (DPM-P)PAE is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the Security Operations Manager on an operations and maintenance and life support services contract in Dubai, UAE. This position will be based in Dubai, U.A.E. with the possibility of travel or permanent relocation to Kabul at any time. This individual will report to the DPM-P. S/he will be responsible liaising with the Intel Security Manager based in Kabul on day-to-day security operations for all programs under this contract. The incumbent will be required to possess expertise in both mobile and static security. Potential applicants must be willing to live and work in Dubai, U.A.E for the period of performance with travel or possible relocation to Kabul. The duties and responsibilities listed herein are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.Duties:Monitor and assist Intel Security Manager (ISM) with RSO Vetting for all Local National employees.Assist Intel Security Manager with the badging process for all employees when necessary and in the absence of ISMOrganize information and materialsUpdate and modify as needed the SOPs for Security Operations Manager position and duties. Backfill the Intel Security Manger (ISM) position in Kabul.Maintain security operations as tasked by the DPMs and ISM.Assist ISM with daily, weekly, monthly Intel reports.Assist with planning, developing, and implementing the Emergency Evacuation plans as required to ensure the safety and security of personnel.Perform daily tasks associated as directed for deployed operations.Support SaSS personnel as required, including maintaining administrative files for the DPM-P and composing correspondence reports, forms, and other documents.Take notes, directions and general instructions from DPM-P.May develop and maintain computerized spreadsheets and databases to enter information and generate reports.May produce, revise, or refine formal presentation materials using presentation software.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Full understanding of relevant DoS/DoD security procedures and policies.Must be detail-oriented, work with minimal supervision, analytical and problem-solving capability.Experience working in complex environment with a high degree of organizational effectiveness.Must have the ability to work successfully in a team environment and to develop relationships with co-workers and employees.Must have excellent communication skills with a proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees, contractors, and customers.Required:Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent in education and experience.Experience: 3 years’ experience working on a security contract.Must have working knowledge of the (NISPOM) National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.Security Vetting: TS Language Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with all levels of employees and vendors.
