SEND Teacher (Primary)

£162 - £223 per day

Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement

Working hours: Monday - Friday, term time only

Unique School Solutions are working with a Primary school in Rotherham who are needing a SEND Teacher to work in their SEND unit, teaching children with complex needs. You will work with a small class of 8 children, and have support from 2 SEND Teaching Assistants. You will be expected to plan, deliver and mark schemes of work that are curriculum based and SEND/Nurture based around topics the students are working on. The role is to start ASAP and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.

Essential requirements for the role:

* Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs. This needs to be within the last 2 years, and within a school setting

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE required

* The ability to plan and deliver schemes of work

* Patience, empathy and calmness

* The ability to lead groups of Teaching Assistants within your classroom
