We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team in St Helens. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant who wants to make a real difference in children's learning and development.

• Work closely with class teachers as a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the curriculum

• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups as a Teaching Assistant

• Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and behaviour management

• Encourage independence, engagement, and confidence in all pupils

• Act as a reliable and approachable Teaching Assistant within the school community

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a primary school setting

• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach suitable for a Teaching Assistant role

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Knowledge of safeguarding and child welfare practices

• Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant - desirable but not essential
