Senior Technical Manager

We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our long-established client for a Senior Technical Manager to join their senior leadership team. This is a pivotal appointment, reporting directly to the Site Director, and offers the opportunity to shape and lead the technical strategy of a well-established, high-performing site.

This role is ideal for a proven technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced, audit-driven environment and is passionate about driving standards, quality, and continuous improvement.

The Role

As the leading technical authority on site, you will:
-Develop and drive the site's technical strategy in alignment with business objectives
-Lead, manage and develop the quality and technical teams
-Drive and embed quality standards across the entire site
-Ensure the site is audit-ready at all times
-Manage and deliver the internal audit schedule
-Lead all external audits and customer visits
-Ensure full compliance with UK legislation and customer requirements
-Maintain and develop strong customer and client relationships
-Provide visible, hands-on technical leadership
-Drive a culture of continuous improvement
-You will play a key role in influencing site performance, culture, and compliance standards as a core member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Requirements:
-Proven experience in a similar Senior Technical / Technical Manager role
-Strong knowledge and practical application of HACCP and BRC standards
-Previous experience working with retailer standards (essential)
-Demonstrable ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
-Experience managing audits and customer visits with confidence
-Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
-A proactive approach with the ability to drive change and continuous improvement

You will be a natural leader with the gravitas to operate at senior level and the drive to maintain and elevate standards across the site.

Salary - £65,000 - £75,000
