We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a national credit team within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in credit control who is ready to take on a new challenge and contribute to the success of multiple sites.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Managing debt across various sites to ensure timely payments.
- Allocating payments accurately and efficiently.
- Generating and analysing aged debt reports.
- Placing accounts on stop as necessary.
- Monitoring direct debit arrangements and ensuring they are up to date.
- Handling banking transactions and reconciliations.
- Assisting with the management of the sales ledger.
- Performing other ad hoc duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a credit control role.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle enquiries and disputes.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Active listening skills to understand customer concerns and issues.
- Persistence and determination to recover debts.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
