Monarch Education are looking to recruit a PPA cover Teacher to join an outstanding school in North Manchester. This role is ideal for Teachers with QTS, who are looking for a full or part time role, teaching across KS1 and KS2. It would be perfect for Teachers who have just qualified from University, or who have been away from the classroom for a period of time and looking to get their foot in the door.

The role:

Covering sessions in all subjects across the school, keeping in line with the topics covered by the children
Leading intervention groups in core subjects
Contributing to marking and assessment of lessons covered, identifying next steps for learning and providing feedback

The school is based in North Manchester, with easily accessible transport links. There is on -site parking and a bus stop at the end of the road. The school is a welcoming and caring setting, where staff and children are supported emotionally, morally and culturally. The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum where children are encouraged to be Independent learners and critical thinkers.

The successful candidate must have:

QTS status
Demonstrated success in the primary setting
A willingness to go the extra mile in helping children make progress
knowledge of behaviour strategies with different age groups
2 relevant references
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one through Monarch (which is refunded to you once you have begun work)
Overseas police check (if applicable)
