Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing and engineering industry, is looking for a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team.

About the Role:

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellence across various sectors, including sub-sea, oil and gas, rail, marine, automotive, furniture, defence, and aerospace. You will ensure that every product meets customer specifications and quality standards, working a four day working week.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) tailored to client specifications.
Inspect machined, fabricated, and welded components for quality compliance.
Identify and report any defects or non-conformities swiftly.
Conduct thorough visual inspections using precision inspection equipment.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues.
Maintain accurate inspection records and update the ERP system.
Assist in enhancing quality control processes and support continuous improvement.What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
Proficiency in measurement tools and inspection equipment.
A keen eye for detail and spotting inconsistencies.
Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to quality.
Knowledge of ISO standards is a plus.
Proficient in relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Office, CAD).
