Sewell Wallis are looking for a part qualified Accountant with a Practice background to join a growing business based in Bakewell. This financial accountant role will offer excellent progression opportunities, with a chance to make a real impact within the business, and give plenty of exposure to various accounting duties within an industry setting.

This Derbyshire Dales business will offer training and guidance through your studies, with a small but well-established finance team to support you daily. Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to be on-site. Some travel is required for completion of site audits, a company car is within the package to accommodate for this.

This role is perfect for someone who no-longer see's their future in Practice, and is keen to develop within a group business structure with a tangible progression pathway in place.

What will you be doing?

Preparation of annual statutory accounts
Auditing of multiple sites
Assisting with compliance and internal controls
Assisting with the management accounts preparation
VAT returns
Corporation tax
Assisting with Payroll & PensionWhat skills are we looking for?

Experience with auditing businesses
Accountancy practice experience
Strong communicator
Part qualified candidate (CIMA or ACCA)
