HR and Payroll Advisor

Location: East Kent (Hybrid working)
Salary: Circa £36,000 to £40,000/annum - Depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours

Are you an experienced HR Advisor with payroll knowledge looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced environment?

We're currently recruiting for an experienced HR and Payroll Advisor to join a well-established and growing organisation. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working within a fast-paced industrial environment and will live within a commutable distance to East Kent. Full right to work in the UK will only be considered.

Key Responsibilities

HR Duties:

Manage a range of ER casework (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability).
Coach and support managers on people-related issues and employee performance.
Attend formal HR meetings as the advisor/representative.
Keep HR systems up to date and maintain accurate records.
Deliver and support training sessions on HR policy and employment legislation.
Assist with wider HR projects including wellbeing, culture and employee engagement.Payroll Duties:

Administer and prep monthly payroll for up to a large number of employees using a payroll system ready for the payroll company.
Manage all payroll-related administration including starters, leavers, adjustments and benefits.
Conduct thorough payroll checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Act as first point of contact for payroll queries, liaising with managers and employees.About You

CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience (essential)
Experience in a combined HR and payroll position
Confident managing complex employee relations casework independently
Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
Proficient using HR systems - ideally Workday
Background in manufacturing or engineering in a fast-paced industrial environment (preferred)Benefits:
