Broster Buchanan are hiring for a Senior Tax Analyst for a leading specialty manufacturing business.

This is a permanent full-time role based in their Central London office, but supporting 3 days per week remote working.

The role comes with a salary of circa £50k-£65k plus 10% bonus and benefits package.

The company is seeking to recruit a Senior Tax Analyst to support the Head of Tax, playing a pivotable role in the future of the Group Tax department.

Key responsibilities:

* Support the Head of Tax in preparing and reviewing tax packages for year-end Group Reporting purposes.

* Prepare the tax calculations for quarterly Group Tax Reporting

* Assist with preparing tax disclosures for UK companies for year-end reporting purposes.

* Work with the accounting team and outsourced tax providers to manage the corporation tax return compliance requirements across the Group including assistance in reviewing the UK corporate tax returns.

* Manage the Group Transfer Pricing documentation process including liaison with the outsourced providers and assist in the review of transfer pricing documentation and agreements.

* Support the Head of Tax in managing tax audits across the Group

* Support the Head of Tax with value added initiatives and tax planning

* Assist the Head of Tax with ad hoc advice to the business on a wide range of topics including VAT, Employment tax, Withholding Tax & Customs duties.

It's a great role for someone looking for a varied tax position as it deals with all different types of taxes (i.e. corporate tax, transfer pricing, indirect tax etc), and it has a good balance between advisory / compliance / business partnering and project work.

But it's also a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for progression/development - the plan is to promote this person to a managerial role in circa 18 months, and then hire a new person to take on some of the elements of this role such as the compliance, meaning this person can take on extra higher-level responsibilities.
