We have a hugely exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join a manufacturer of packaging machinery who are passionate about engineering excellence, customer success, and continuous innovation. We are seeking a senior, highly responsible and experienced Sales Manager to lead our commercial efforts in the UK. This is a strategic role with full ownership of the UK sales function and a clear growth path to senior leadership, based on performance and results.

The right candidate will be supported by the General Manager during onboarding and initial processes but is expected to independently manage and drive the commercial strategy thereafter. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional ready to step into a leadership position with significant influence over the UK growth.

Our customer base spans 3PL providers, e-commerce businesses, marketplace operators, and beyond-requiring a consultative and solutions-focused sales approach.

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Lead business development activities across the UK within target industries such as 3PL, e-commerce, and marketplace fulfilment.

▪ Manage the full end-to-end sales process: from prospecting and qualification through to proposal, closing, and post-sales handover.

▪ Identify, engage, and develop new accounts while nurturing existing client relationships.

▪ Maintain and update the CRM daily, ensuring transparency and accurate forecasting.

▪ Deliver clear, data-driven sales forecasts and reports to management.

▪ Work closely with prospects to translate needs into tailored solutions.

▪ Representation at key industry events, trade shows, and customer sites.

▪ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve market positioning and brand awareness in UK.

▪ Drive innovation in how we position and present our solutions in the UK market.

▪ Take ownership of strategic sales planning and commercial execution in line with company objectives.

Key Requirements:

▪ Minimum of 5 years plus of proven sales experience in warehouse, logistics, or packaging automation.

▪ Strong track record of successful business development and complex B2B sales.

▪ Solid experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), with a process- and performance-driven mindset.

▪ Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

▪ Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

▪ Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.

▪ Results-oriented with a passion for delivering client value.

▪ Ability to travel nationally as required and occasionally work extended hours during critical project phases.

▪ Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.

▪ Comfortable working in a hybrid/remote setup with periodic in-person collaboration.

▪ Must be conversant with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office
