The Role

The Engineering practice requires a Qualified or Part Qualified Patent Attorney after winning work with a number of high-profile clients. There will be a broad diet of work, from drafting and prosecution through to oppositions, appeals and litigation. There is a strong emphasis on strategic counselling to the firm's high-profile global client base.

The role is client focused and Associates are actively encouraged to engage in client relationships. You will be joining a collegiate and welcoming team of Attorneys that are ambitious, commercially minded and technically brilliant. Every employee in the Birmingham office is committed to building and expanding the European practice of one of the world's most highly recognised IP law firms.

Requirements

  • STEM qualification in a related subject i. Engineering
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice
  • Fully/Part qualified European or UK Patent Attorney
  • Business Development and client facing
