We're thrilled to partner exclusively with Royal Greenwich, recently rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted (June 2024), to appoint permanent Social Workers within their high-performing Assessment & Support Team, the frontline service responsible for safeguarding children and providing timely, effective interventions for families across the borough.

About the Role

*

Lead high quality Child & Family Assessments

*

Respond to new referrals with timely triage and planning

*

Make key threshold decisions on risk, need and intervention

*

Liaise closely with early help, health, police and education professionals

*

Support cases from point of contact to handover or closure

*

Ensure children's voices are central to assessment and safety planning

*

Contribute to a reflective, high performing and collaborative team

We're looking for passionate, skilled practitioners who bring:

*

Registration with Social Work England

*

A recognised qualification in Social Work

*

Experience in frontline statutory social work (Assessment, MASH, CP or Safeguarding)

*

Confidence in analysing risk and taking action

*

A child-centred, strengths based approach

*

Strong organisational and communication skills

*

The ability to thrive in a fast paced, high impact team
