The Role of Area Account Manager

* This is a home / field based role (covering the M62 Yorkshire / North West)

* Our client requires a skilled sales professional / Account Manager with a depth of skills and character to take a broad portfolio of high quality industrial products

* As Area Account Manager, you will manage accounts with end users across sectors such as aerospace, food processing, education, nuclear, oil and aviation.

* You will talk to 'users of the products' to demonstrate them as well as Engineering Managers. This role 90% account management with a varied mix of clients that include large blue-chip as well as SME's.

* You will be supported by product specialists that can / will accompany you when needed with client visits

The Candidate (Area Account Manager)

We are looking for a field based Account Manager with:

* 12 months field sales B2B experience

* Experience in selling an industrial product to end users

* Experience selling products with a proven track record with good account manager / account management skills

* An interest or experience in the industrial / mechanical is advantageous

* IT Savvy / basic level of competence with MS office products

The Package Area Account Manager

* £32,000 - £42,000 (including a £10k bonus guarentee)

* £70K year 1 realistic OTE - current team all earning over £60K (area on target)

* Commissions & bonuses paid out monthly, quarterly and annually.

* 7% vs 7% matched pension

* Company car hybrid
