Lead Piping Engineer
About the Role
Jackson Hogg is recruiting for a Lead Piping Engineer to join a leading EPC engineering business in Cramlington to work on Onshore oil & gas and renewable energy projects. The Lead Piping Engineer will be responsible for leading a team of on complex piping projects and provide technical expertise internally and with clients. This role is full time and permanent.
Main Responsibilities of the Lead Piping Engineer

Lead and supervise a team of engineers and designers, ensuring efficient resource allocation and high-quality outputs.
*
Deliver technical consultancy on piping-related issues to clients.
*
Oversee preparation, checking, and approval of design and engineering documentation.
*
Implement and maintain best practices in people management, systems, and processes.
*
Support business development activities by providing technical expertise.
Essential Requirements for this Lead Piping Engineer Position:
*
Degree qualified (Desirable) or HNC level qualification with additional experince.
*
Extensive experience in piping engineering within the onshore oil & gas/renewable energy sectors.
*
Proven track record of leading multi-discipline projects.
Desirable requirements for this Lead Piping Engineer position:
*
Degree level qualification in Engineering.
*
Chartered Engineer status.
*
Experience in developing and mentoring engineering teams.

Working Hours
