Senior Production Planner

Jackson Hogg is supporting a global manufacturing business in their search for a Senior Production Planner to drive production planning, scheduling and operational performance across their Production site.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of planning activity, ensuring production runs smoothly, materials are in place and customer demand is consistently met.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all production planning and scheduling activities across the site
• Develop and optimise production schedules to meet customer demand and service levels
• Own MPS/MRP planning through SAP
• Identify capacity constraints and bottlenecks, implementing solutions to maintain flow
• Lead daily and weekly scheduling meetings
• Ensure material availability across raw materials, WIP and finished goods
• Work closely with Procurement to manage supplier performance and mitigate shortages

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Strong background in production planning or scheduling within manufacturing
• Proven experience developing and implementing planning processes and systems
• Solid working knowledge of SAP
• Strong understanding of MRP, capacity planning and inventory control
• Advanced Excel skills
