3.5 Tonne Driver - Multi-Drop / Refrigerated Van - Tamworth

People Solutions are currently recruiting for 3.5 Tonne Drivers - Multi-Drop / Refrigerated Van to join our well-established national client based in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

These roles are long-term temp-to-perm positions with opportunities available across AM, PM and Night shifts.

Shifts

• AM Shift - Monday to Saturday - 04:00 start times
• PM Shift - Sunday to Friday - 13:00 start times
• Night Shift - Friday to Sunday - 18:30 start times

Rates of Pay

• £13.10 per hour - Monday to Friday (06:00 - 22:00)
• £14.25 per hour - Saturday and Sunday (06:00 - 22:00)
• £12.25 per hour - Sunday to Saturday (22:00 - 06:00)
• £17.68 per hour - Overtime after 42 hours

Day-to-Day Duties

As a 3.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Driving refrigerated delivery vans safely and efficiently
• Completing multi-drop deliveries to convenience stores, cafés and retail locations
• Completing around 30 drops per shift
• Unloading deliveries at customer sites
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Completing delivery paperwork and records
• Adhering to company procedures and road safety regulations

Essential Skills

To be successful as a 3.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:

• A valid UK Category B Driving Licence held for a minimum of 12 months
• Previous commercial driving experience
• Good timekeeping and organisational skills
• A reliable and professional approach

Desirable Experience

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience

Training Provided

• Driving assessment carried out prior to starting
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout the assignment
