Parts Advisor
Location: Manchester
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (days) + 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (4-hour shift)
Contract: Permanent

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join a busy commercial vehicle dealership in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong knowledge of vehicle parts and excellent customer service skills to become part of an established team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support to customers and workshop staff with accurate parts identification and supply

Handle parts enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face

Process orders efficiently using internal systems

Maintain stock levels and support regular stock checks

Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers

Work as part of a team to ensure the department runs smoothly and meets business targets

What You'll Need

Previous experience in a Parts Advisor role (preferably within automotive or HGV sectors)

Good understanding of vehicle parts and cataloguing systems

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

IT literate with good administrative accuracy
