Job Description:

Our client is a well-established renewable energy installer founded in 2011, covering solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps, EV charging and more across the South of England. They're fully accredited, Tesla Powerwall Premium installers, and their current hiring activity suggests the business is actively growing.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of renewable energy systems including solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging points. You will also provide day-to-day technical support to the electrical team, assisting with job checks, electrical surveys, and ensuring all work is delivered to the highest standard.

* Install and maintain domestic and commercial solar PV systems

* Install and commission battery storage units and EV chargers

* Carry out system checks, diagnostics, and fault-finding

* Conduct electrical surveys for upcoming installations

* Review upcoming jobs to ensure correct equipment and time allocation

* Support the office and electrical team with technical queries and fault-finding

* Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and H&S standards

* Represent the company professionally on site and with clients

Essential Skills Required:

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

* Minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified electrician

* ECS Card (Gold preferred)

* Renewable energy experience preferred — training provided if not

* Full UK driving licence

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

* A team-focused mindset with a coaching approach to supporting others
