Are you a qualified Primary Teacher with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

We're working with a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Birmingham seeking a Primary Trained Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and the ability to adapt it to meet the needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.

The Role

As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of your pupils

Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment

Work closely with support staff, therapists, and SENCOs to develop and deliver EHCPs

Monitor and assess progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed

Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and their families

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is:
✅ A fully qualified Primary Teacher (QTS essential)
✅ Experienced in working with children with SEN, either in mainstream or specialist settings
✅ Confident in differentiating the curriculum for a range of learning needs
✅ Calm, resilient, and enthusiastic about inclusive education
✅ Able to create a positive and structured classroom environment

Requirements

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Proven experience supporting children with SEN

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
