An innovative and forward-thinking independent day and boarding school near Frome is seeking an inspirational Art Teacher to join its thriving Creative Arts Department from September 2025. This full-time, permanent role involves teaching Art and Design from KS3 to A-Level, including support with GCSE and A-Level coursework, portfolio preparation, and exhibitions.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about nurturing creativity and confident in a range of media, from traditional fine art to mixed media and digital illustration. Experience supporting students' independent projects and art histories would be an advantage.

Requirements

Degree in Art, Fine Art or a related creative discipline; PGCE and QTS essential

*

Experience teaching at secondary level, ideally through to A-Level

*

Skilled in a range of media - from sketching and painting to photography or print

*

Willingness to lead or support extra-curricular clubs and gallery trips
